What is the difference between a passenger app and the web booking app?

At the moment, we offer two passenger-facing solutions on the Onde.Light platform (including our current pilot program).

Both options allow passengers to order rides, but they are designed for different use cases and business goals.

The Web passenger app is a module that allows users to order a ride through a simple web-based interface.

It works directly in a browser and is accessible from computers, tablets and smartphones.

There is no need to download anything.

With the Web App, you can:

• Partner with hotels and restaurants and allow them to book rides through the Web app widget
• Place the Web app widget on your own website
• Partner with major local portals and integrate the Web app there

The Web Passenger App is included in the standard Onde.Light product package and is available to all partners.

It is ideal for businesses that want a lightweight, flexible booking solution that can be embedded and distributed easily.

The Passenger app is a downloadable app available in Google Play (currently part of our Passenger app pilot program).

This solution is designed for partners who want passengers to install an app on their phone and place orders directly through a mobile application.

The Passenger app is especially suitable for businesses that:

• Want a more “app-first” experience for their riders
• Prefer a standalone booking environment instead of a browser-based tool

At the moment, access to Passenger apps is available only within the passenger app pilot program and is limited to a fixed number of partners.
