How to add drivers to the platform

Within the drivers tab the company owner can add/remove drivers and manage their subscriptions.

How to add drivers via My hub

Step 1:

Proceed to the "Drivers" tab >> "Drivers management" in My hub.

And press the "Add driver" button.

Step 2:

Fill in the driver's phone number. You can also subscribe a driver to a subscription plan. Then click on the "Add" button.

And that it! The driver is invited. The invitation SMS is sent to the provided phone number.

Step 3:

Now the driver has to download the driver's application using the links from the SMS, complete all the profile registration steps and submit it to the company for review.

The moment the driver sends the completed profile to the company he gets a notification as below. After that he awaits till the company reviews his details, assigns the Vehicle type and activates the profile.

☝️Note: If the driver didn't receive SMS with the invitation, he can register through the phone number to which the invite was linked. 

What to do if the driver didn’t receive the invitation SMS?

If your driver didn’t receive the SMS with the activation link — no worries! Since their phone number was already added to your My hub account, they can still register and join your company without the SMS.

Here’s what the driver should do:

Step 1: Download the Driver App

Ask the driver to install the app from the Play Store or App Store:

They can also search for the app using the name: Onde Driver App.


Step 2: Register with the phone number

The driver should start the registration process using the same phone number that was added to your My hub account.


Step 3: Appear in “Waiting for activation” status

Once the registration is complete, the driver will automatically appear in My hub under the "Waiting for activation" section.

Step 4: Activate the Driver

As an operator or manager, here’s what you need to do:

  • Go to My hub >> "Drivers" >> "Drivers management"
  • Click on the driver with status "Waiting for activation".
  • Review their profile details
  • Assign a Service Type (e.g. Economy, Standard, etc.)
  • Change the profile status from "Waiting for activation" to "Active"
  • Click "Save"

That’s it! The driver is now fully registered and ready to receive orders.

Can drivers register themselves via the App?

If you want drivers to register without manually adding their number in My hub, unfortunately, it's not available. 

The ability for drivers to register independently is available in the full Onde platform, which offers more advanced features and branding options.
