How to not miss orders

The Driver app processes a lot of real-time data. To ensure a smooth experience and avoid missing orders, follow these best practices.

Don’t close the app

If you see a splash screen when opening the Driver app, it means the app was fully closed instead of running in the background. Some drivers think it closes automatically, but it only shuts down in two cases:

  • Manually – When the driver closes the app.
  • By the phone – The phone forces it to stop.

Your phone may force-close the app if:
  • Battery Saver mode is turned on.
  • The device is low on RAM.
  • Other heavy apps (like games) are open while on shift.

☝️Tip: To avoid this, drivers should avoid running unnecessary apps while working and clear their phone cache regularly.

Monitor jobs in Sleep Mode

The Driver app continues working in the background, even when your phone is in sleep mode. There's no need to restart it to receive new orders. But:

  • Alerts may be quieter – Turn your volume up to the max.
  • Check your phone regularly – Avoid letting it sleep for too long during a shift.

Enable notifications for drivers

Set up automatic notifications to ensure drivers instantly receive alerts about new orders in their area.

Here's how:

  • On Android: Go to Settings > More > Applications Manager > DriverApp and make sure "Show notifications" is enabled.
  • On iOS: Go to Settings > Notifications > DriverApp and switch all notifications ON.
